Social prescribing has helped 4,000,000+ people worldwide access non-medical support and community-based care.
Our goals

Why we exist

We’re working to normalise social prescribing in the UAE, especially for young people. That means:

  • Making support feel human — not cold, clinical or judgmental.
  • Bringing community, movement, arts, and belonging into “care.”
  • Making sure students are heard when decisions are made about them.
  • Building practical pathways schools and clinics can actually use.

Evidence & case studies

Does it work?

In the UK, social prescribing is already being used to reduce isolation, connect people to meaningful activity, and reduce repeat GP visits. Link workers help people find support that isn’t “here’s a pill, goodbye.”

We’re adapting that model to the UAE — schools, student wellbeing, youth mental health. We’re collecting case studies from real students (hear them on our podcast and on Instagram @s4sp.uae).
